Arnica for the itch of insect sting

If you pick blackberries you will be vulnerable to possessive hornets and bees.  Painful as the stings may be, it is the itch that may lead to scratching until you scream.  Apply ice, baking soda and arnica.
Ahhhh, relief.

Fleabane actually does work as insecticide.  Crush the dried leaves and burn like sage or let your animals,  if they will, drink the water that the cut flowers sit in.
 Ah,  relief!

Bouncing Bet, also known as soapwort
actually does use a natural ingredient that you may use to wash if you pulverize the leaves into a green lather.   For tapestries dilute with distilled or soft water until clear then apply with bath net ball when dry, brush with flat, artist sable brush.
