Yellow squash and banana peppers went away and are back with the recent cool temperatures. Peas and beans still strong, tomatoes (Roma, Fiesta, Brandywine) are coming in fine but will plant twice as many next year. Still wating for early corn , lots of cobs but the kernals aren't full, it has been more than 75 days from seed and late 96 day corn has passed it in size. Third planting of corn probably won't have full size kernals in time and the potatoes may be tiny but possible. The peaches look gorgeous. Fleabane

Harvest Time and the weather has everyone confused. We have a few days off while Irene moves through as picking in the rain isn't good for anybody. Riding in the rain however is mandated.
